Reality Check aims to educate their communities on the benefits of tobacco-free and smoke-free spaces.
Tobacco-litter and secondhand smoke can be hazardous. Reality Check youth leaders engage their communities to take action and raise awareness about the benefits and the need for smoke-free, vape-free, and tobacco-free spaces. Currently over 500 municipalities in New York State have made outdoor recreation areas tobacco-free.
